Born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Ralph Hamelmann currently resides in Toronto. He started his Life Coaching practice 30 years ago and has served a diverse clientele with a wide array of needs.
Ralph’s approach is non-judgmental, empathic, and gentle. His goal is to make every client feel hopeful, focused and determined after every session.
He’s certified as a Life Skills Coach (George Brown College), Life Coach (IAP Career College), and in Clinical Hypnosis (University of Toronto).
Ralph’s healing journey started in 1988 when he volunteered as a peer counselor in the LGBTQ community. This meaningful work paved the way for his Life Coaching practice and ignited his passion for helping others.
During this time, Ralph also began practicing mantra meditation. The focus and grounding he gained from this discipline deeply resonated with him. In his pursuit of self awareness, he’s also studied Feng Shui, Astrology, and Tarot.
To prepare for this work, Ralph has undergone three years of hypnotherapy. He’s seen firsthand how this powerful process can heal the past and transform our consciousness.
Since 2001, Ralph has taught Public Speaking at George Brown College. This course is deeply rewarding for him — as he’s been able to witnesses each and every student transform into confident speakers. In 2006, George Brown honoured Ralph with the Award for Teaching Excellence.
Ralph’s also reached great heights as a songwriter, TV producer, and cartoonist. See his Wikipedia page.
Despite his many successes, Ralph considers quitting smoking his greatest accomplishment.
